ZESCO Board Chairperson Vickson Ncube has dismissed claims that the stabilisation in power is linked to the upcoming election period, stating that the energy projects are here to stay. Ncube further says the Mumbwa Sunshare Solar Plant is expected to deliver 120MW of electricity by June this year. Meanwhile, Sunshare Construction Company Project Manager Erick Chen says phase one of the project will deliver 122 megawatts, while phase two will add a further 303 megawatts.
