THE Kabwe High Court has upheld an injunction, restraining the Given Lubinda-led PF faction from holding any meetings or conferences in the name of the party. In this matter, Morgan Ngóna, in his capacity as faction secretary general, has sued Brenda Nyirenda, in her capacity as the purported acting secretary general of the party. In November 2025, Kabwe High Court Judge Kelvin Limbani granted an ex-parte injunction in favour of faction president Robert Chabinga, preventing PF faction acting secretary general Brenda Nyirenda and her agents from holding a general conference, using the PF secretariat or any party materials.
