According to reports from Mass Media complex, Montsosa has since been replaced by veteran broadcaster Lesego Mohutshiwa. A source close to the developments told MmegiOnline that Montsosa has been “benched” by “the powers that be,” who are now uncertain about his future at RB1. The source claims that Montsosa made an off-air remark that later surfaced on Facebook during Ndadi’s live broadcast.

“Di instructions tsa golo ha gatwe re seka ra tsaa megala (Instructions from here are that we should not take calls),” Montsosa is heard saying towards the end of Ndadi’s live feed. The source further revealed that panic has gripped the RB1 Current Affairs team, with Montsosa allegedly being sacrificed to shield others from the fallout. With Montsosa taking the fall for the Friday Masaasele incident, his co-host Mohumi Modise has returned to air, this time alongside Mohutshiwa.
