GOVERNMENT has announced that the ZNBC Board has mutually separated with Director General Berry Lwando. Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana says the Board has since appointed Reuben Kajokoto to act as ZNBC Director General. In a statement, Kawana said January 23, 2026 marked the last day of work for Lwando.
“I want to take the opportunity to announce to the nation that as of yesterday, Friday the 23rd, the Board of ZNBC and the Director General of ZNBC, Mr Berry Lwando, agreed to mutually separate and go their separate ways. And therefore yesterday, Friday, marked the last day of work of Mr Lwando as Director General of ZNBC.
