According to the Ombudsman’s report, the growing wave of litigation reflects deep-rooted systemic failures within the health sector, including persistent shortages of medicines, malfunctioning or non-existent medical equipment, ambulance deficits, delayed referral systems and deteriorating infrastructure along key referral routes.
