COPPER Queens Head Coach Nora Häuptle has expressed excitement in contesting in a ‘tough group’ at the WAFCON tournament scheduled between March 27 and April 3. Zambia faces a tough group coming up against continental giants Nigeria and Egypt, and neighbours, Malawi. She noted that having such tough opponents at the beginning of the tournament will psyche the players to be fully prepared from the beginning as opposed to shifting through the gears as it progresses.
“Last week I was in Rabat for the draw. Basically, I adore this group. It’s the toughest group, but the coach always wants to play first against the best.
