Few things beat the taste of homemade jam, especially when it’s made from fresh, juicy raspberries. Making jam at home might sound like a chore, but it’s surprisingly easy. You only need three ingredients – raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice – and about half an hour of your time.

Homemade jam also lets you control the flavour and texture. If you prefer chunkier jam, just mash the fruit lightly. If you prefer something smoother, strain the seeds.

Combine raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and let it bubble for 15–20 minutes, stirring often, until thickened.
