EASTERN Province Police Commanding Officer Robertson Mweemba says officers will continue following Makebi Zulu to protect his life and ensure he leaves the province safely. Mweemba says the decision to monitor Zulu was prompted by the arrest of seven of his supporters in Masumba area on Monday, who engaged in violence by throwing stones. On Monday, police stormed the PF presidential aspirant’s residence in Malambo.

Mweemba explained that the officers were present at Zulu’s residence to protect his life in case any incident occurred. Yesterday, Zulu posted on his official Facebook page that police officers had continued to follow him everywhere he went.
