“I am being persecuted” cries Makebi as police storm his house

POLICE in Eastern Province yesterday stormed PF aspiring presidential candidate Makebi Zulu’s residence in Malambo. A number of supporters had gathered at Zulu’s home yesterday morning to show support to the candidate which triggered police to storm the residence and inquire what activities were happening. Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer Robertson Mweemba said officers were present at Zulu’s residence to protect his life in case any incident occurred.

But Zulu argued that police mobilised themselves as early as 05:00 hours and moved to his property, claiming it was an unlawful assembly and further asked him to provide a permit. In an interview, Mweemba said officers were not aware that Zulu was in the area and were alarmed by the number… Do you agree that child defilers should be castrated?
