Mzwinila Calls DCEC’s Bluff

Former Cabinet minister Kefentse Mzwinila has mounted a legal challenge against the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC) and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) accusing the State of abusing court processes.

Through his attorneys, Plaatjie Taupedi, Mzwinila has filed what he terms a notice to anticipate, oppose and raise points in limine against an ex parte application in which the DPP seeks to restrain a vast portfolio of cash, properties, farming enterprises, vehicles, equipment and shares allegedly linked to him and associated entities.
