GOVERNMENT has projected a 6.4 percent Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in 2026. Government says the growth will be driven by mining, agriculture recovery, Information Communication Technology (ICT) expansion, and improved electricity supply. In a statement, Friday, Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry Principal Public Relations Officer Everness Nankala said Zambia’s economic outlook for 2026 is anchored on propelling the country towards middle-income status through inclusive growth and equitable development.
