TONSE Alliance faction vice-chairman Danny Pule has announced the removal of PF from the Alliance, citing prolonged internal disputes and ongoing court battles involving the former ruling party. The Tonse Alliance Council of Leaders has since appointed FDD leader Chifumu Banda and Zambia Must Prosper leader Kelvin Fube Bwalya (KBF) as acting first vice-chairperson and as second vice-chairperson, respectively. But PF faction acting president Given Lubinda has described the expulsion as illegal, stating that the PF won’t be treated as a non-existent entity within an Alliance it helped to form.
