The recalled product is the 800g pack with batch number 51660742F3, sold from September 2025 through major retailers in South Africa, and also exported to Namibia and Eswatini.

It was also exported to Namibia and Eswatini”. This comes after the possible presence of cereulide, a toxin produced by the bacteria Bacillus cereus, was detected in the formula. The NCC warned that the toxin poses a food safety risk for infants and urged parents and caregivers to stop using the product and return it to stores for a full refund.
