On January 3, 19-year-old Caleb Pittaway passed away following a devastating car accident on Watermeyer Street, where his vehicle struck the back of a truck. “We are not sure what happened.
The only information we have is that he hit a truck from the back,” his father, Aubrey Pittaway, said. “Caleb was impossible to miss. The first thing you notice when he walks through a door is his striking red hair,” Pittaway said.
He added that, although his red hair was the trademark of his appearance, it was his kind heart and bubbly personality that truly commanded attention. His family will most miss the simple, cheerful way he entered their lives every day. His signature greeting, a long, friendly‘Heyy!’, was the soundtrack in their home.
