Haimbe expressed a desire for the ties to broaden and deepen in the years ahead, according to a statement issued in Lusaka on Tuesday by First Secretary for Protocol at the Zambian Mission in the United Arab Emirates, Lameck Zimba. The Minister on Sunday, January 4, 2026, held bilateral meetings with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, and Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
