The woman, who was shot dead, allegedly by her partner, was identified as the DA’s Provincial Director in Mpumalanga, Sarbhera Amod. TheSouth Coast Heraldreported that the shooting happened on January 1 at a rental unit in Margate. Preliminary reports suggest that an argument between the couple escalated, whereupon the man shot Amod in the head before turning the gun on himself.
