SOCIALITE and businesswoman Jackie Ngarande has thrown her weight behind opposition leader Nelson Chamisa and the Citizens Coalition for Change party.
Ngarande openly showed her support through social media posts.
Commenting on Chamisa’s last rally in Harare prior to the August 23 elections, Ngararende implied that the thousands of followers who attended the rally at Freedom square were not bussed, not offered free food, not intimidated to attend the event.
“No-one was forced to close shop (musika) so that they can attend, no-one was bussed, they are all willing by choice and we will vote for change.
Freedom is coming,” she said.
This comes after reports that Zanu PF was bussing people to attend their campaign rallies across the country.
Jacqueline Tinovimba Ngarande is a Zimbabwean model, socialite and philanthropist. She is a brand ambassador for Simuka Africa (a Youth focused NGO).
