ZAMBIA national team coach Moses Sichone has admitted that the Chipolopolo Boys were not adequately prepared for their decisive Group A clash against hosts Morocco, following a 3-0 defeat that confirmed their elimination from the 2025 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Rabat. Speaking after the match at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, Sichone conceded that several players failed to rise to the occasion in a game Zambia needed to win. The coach further acknowledged the challenge of facing tournament favourites Morocco on home soil, backed by a passionate crowd, admitting that his boys were not ready to cope with the pressure.
