Zambia face Morocco in must-win AFCON clash

ZAMBIA and TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 hosts Morocco will renew their rivalry when they meet in today’s do-or-die Group A encounter at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat. Morocco currently top Group A with four points after recording one win and one draw from their opening two matches while Zambia sit third on two points, level with second-placed Mali, leaving the Chipolopolo with no margin for error heading into the final group fixture. While a draw will be enough for the Atlas Lions to book their place in the knockout stage, Zambia must claim all three points if they are to secure qualification for the round of 16.
