SEDIBENG.- A 33-year-old male has been arrested for possession of a suspected stolen vehicle in Sasolburg. It is said that on Sunday, at approximately 21:00, members of the Fezile Dabi District highway patrol received information regarding a truck suspected to have been hijacked in Germiston on Saturday, December 27.
“Acting on the information, the members located and pulled the vehicle over near the industrial area of Sasolburg, resulting in the arrest of one male suspect and the recovery of the truck,” police said. The suspect is expected to appear before the Sasolburg Magistrate Court soon on charges of possession of a suspected stolen vehicle.
