Fists fly as rival bikers go at it while partygoers watch in shock The fight escalated so severely that police were called to the scene at the Jolly Dolphin. After the sheer mayhem, the Jolly Dolphin issued a statement apologising for the fist-fueled frenzy and stating that everyone involved had been banned. Police spokesman Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli said the incident occurred on Friday afternoon.
“Police can confirm that they attended a complaint of fighting that broke out between two groups of bikers in Da Gama Road,” Nkohli told IOL. “The law-enforcement agencies managed to contain the situation, but up to so far, there is no criminal case that has been opened.” Seen by IOL, the video shows men swinging at each other while dance floor music blasted on. A woman then jumps in, taunting one of the fighters.
Partygoers tried to step in, but the bikers refused to back down. The fight got so rough that at one point, two men ended up on top of each other, trading punches. One man even ripped off his shirt while another’s face was full of blood.
