One of the festival organisers, Fortunate Mongwaketse, mentioned that the two-day event will kick off on the 30th of December (Tuesday) with the HEYANA Charity Fun Day. Mongwaketse indicated that the Charity Fun Day is a unique part of the festival aimed at giving back to the community. He explained that they will provide food hampers and school uniforms to 50 disadvantaged children in Kanye and nearby areas.
He noted that the Charity Fun Day will also include entertainment activities for children and traditional music.
