Malema, a retired University of Botswana professor and former Botswana Congress Party member is accused of raping an 18 year old girl (names withheld) in January. The alleged rape incident is said to have occurred during recess when the victim went to the lecturer’s office to inquire about her marks. It is alleged that Malema raped the student for an opportunity award her better marks.
