By Admore Mbonda in Kariba Preparations are in full swing for the first-ever Kariba Bream Braai Festival and Exhibition, set to take place on 30 August along the scenic shores of Lake Kariba. The Kariba Bream Braai Festival is expected to draw hundreds of visitors from both sides of the lake, celebrating the town’s rich culture, fishing heritage, and vibrant community spirit. Event organizer Obert Siamilandu says the team is finalizing logistics to ensure a memorable experience.
“We’ve worked tirelessly to showcase the best of Kariba’s culture, cuisine, and community spirit,” he said. Under the theme “Uniting Communities through Culture, Cuisine, and Conservation,” the festival aims to boost tourism, support local businesses, and promote environmental awareness.
