Businesman and philanthropist, Tatenda Choruwa popularly known as Boss Sky has announced that he has sacked Bernard Murambidzi as the Sky Tournament Chairman.
Boss Sky who bankrolls the prestigious tournament will announce a new executive and Chairman soon.
The executive will be announced at Chibhanguza Hotel. The exact date will be confirmed soon.
As is the Sky Tournament custom, Boss Sky will be bringing cash prizes for the winners, as done in previous years. This year’s Sky Tournament has doubled.
Boss Sky has also hinted that preparations for the 2026 Sky Tournament will commence in the first week of January.
In the upcoming year the Sky Tournament will offer a modest contribution, to support the Murewa Super league.
The tournament continues to grow beyond Mashonaland East Province, and is turning into a national sensation.
According to a drone count this year’s Tournament had a record breaking estimated attendance of close to eighteen thousand people from all walks of life.
