Tuesday 29 July 2025By Innocent Sibonginkosi Ncube BULAWAYO – Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a 30-year-old pedestrian along Intemba Road in Luveve on Sunday evening. The body of the unidentified man was discovered lying on the left lane near Chigumira shops and Thembiso durawall at around 7 PM on July 27, 2025, according to Assistant Inspector Thandekile Ndlovu, deputy Bulawayo provincial police spokesperson. “The deceased was wearing a brown work suit bottom and a blue track jacket,” said Ndlovu.
“We suspect the driver, who is still at large, was travelling due north when they struck the pedestrian and fled the scene.”
