TEAM Zambia has continued to make positive strides at the ongoing African Youth Games in Luanda, Angola, after adding another bronze medal on Wednesday to take the country’s overall medal tally to three. The latest podium finish was secured by taekwondo athlete Lubono Maseko, who claimed bronze in the Poomsae event after an impressive display of composure, precision and technical excellence. Maseko outperformed competitors from Algeria, Eswatini and Zimbabwe to earn her place among the medallists.

Her campaign at the Games is far from over, as she is set to return to action today in the 51kg sparring category. Maseko will open her sparring contest against Egypt, with Team Zambia hopeful that she can build on her momentum and challenge… Do you agree that child defilers should be castrated?
