Harare – DOVES Holdings has injected US$10 million to support the roll out of its new products including the Prestige Plan and to fund a raft of service innovations, including branch upgrades and a major digital transformation drive, Express Mail Zim Business can report. The investment is part of the group’s strategy to strengthen its value proposition in the premium funeral services segment while enhancing operational efficiency across its growing footprint. Group Public Relations Manager Innocent Tshuma this week told this publication that the newly introduced Prestige Plan is designed to meet the expectations of executives and high-end clients seeking bespoke funeral solutions.

“Well, the Prestige Plan is basically targeting the executives and those high end clients who want a more elaborate, bespoke sent off,” said Tshuma. Beyond the new product, the group has channelled significant resources towards upgrading its physical infrastructure (branch upgrades) and digital platforms to align with world class service standards. In a further demonstration of its capital expansion programme, Doves has set a continental milestone by becoming the first African funeral service provider to acquire two Irizar i6s Super Luxury coaches.

The company has also expanded its operational fleet and support equipment to bolster service delivery across its network. “Let me hasten to say that we have invested in the acquisition of 35 brand new Toyota Hiluxes with mobile sleeper and shower units, we also acquired water bowsers and other tools of the trade mainly to support our new products and offer the best service to our clients,” said Tshuma Doves Holdings is one of Zimbabwe’s leading funeral services and assurance providers, with an extensive branch network locally and in the diaspora. The group offers funeral assurance, burial services and related value added products, positioning itself as a dominant player in the market It has continued to invest in premium offerings, fleet expansion and digital innovation. Doves has also consolidated its standing as a market leader and a key competitor in the regional funeral services and assurance industry.
