SANParks has urged the public to stay off the mountain. βFor your safety, all hikers are strongly advised to avoid the Camps Bay hiking trails until further notice,β the statement reads.
Officials say the area will remain closed until authorities confirm it is safe. βWe will provide updates as soon as authorities declare the area safe. Stay alert and prioritise your safety.β Authorities will release further updates once the search concludes and the area is cleared.
