Obedia Musindo, Founder and President of Destiny of Afrika Network (DANet), has launched a blistering critique against Zimbabwe’s opposition parties, specifically addressing Job Sikhala’s recent address to the European Union (EU). In a lengthy interview, Musindo asserted that the ruling ZANU-PF party is “at its strongest position and is getting more powerful,” primarily due to the opposition’s alleged failures in urban governance and the success stories of NDS1 of President ED Mnangagwa which has empowered many Zimbabweans. Musindo warned that “The European Union and its MPs and Ambassadors must understand that Zanu-PF is at its strongest position and is getting more powerful due to the current economic and empowerment polices .” “ZanuPF is strong because of the performing economy and Polices of President ED Mnangagwa.
The President has also launched many Economic Empowerment Projects which are implemented with the likes of Presidential Advisor Dr Paul Tungwarara and others which has made the economy to be more strong. The success stories of NDS1 and economic turnaround which has made people to support and joining ZANU-PF.” The party is regaining big grounds in urban areas because of the inability by the opposition parties to provide the much needed services in all urban areas that were dominated by the MDC Opposition Party then later by CCC then later by this party and this party.” The DANet President accused opposition figures of being dishonest and incompetent. “The opposition over promised people lies, empty promises.
These opposition MPs are job seekers, they have failed to do things on their own, the best they did is to lie to the people to become councilors and MPs.” He further disparaged the caliber of opposition representatives, stating, “Looking at their calibres of opposition MPs in different towns you will see that they just picked those who were loudest in showering praises to Chamisa, Tsvangirai, Tendai Biti.” Musindo was particularly scathing about the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), claiming, “CCC which is Chamisa’s Party has gone dead with its name speaking for itself ‘Chinhu chaChamisa Chakawora’ shona words which means Chamisa’s Party is now rotten. “These are political thugs who were elected into the offices. They know nothing about management, they have turned a running water system dry because of the legacy system of opposition in Zimbabwe.” He attributed the urban decay directly to the opposition’s tenure: “CCC led Council was only good at piling Mountains of uncollected garbage in Harare and other urban centres.

Politically he is a serous made man and mentally seek.” Musindo then declared that ZANU-PF has no need to concern itself with the opposition. “ZanuPF has no business to go back to graveyards looking for those who are politically dead.”
