South Africans have expressed disappointment after reports emerged that the beloved Quality Street chocolates have allegedly been discontinued locally, disrupting a long‑standing festive tradition for many families,POST is reporting. For decades, Quality Street has held a cherished place in South African homes during the holiday season. The colourful assortment of individually wrapped sweets became synonymous with Christmas, evoking fond childhood memories and signalling the start of the festive period.

As yet, neither Nestlé South Africa nor the company’s global representatives have provided formal confirmation of the status of Quality Street in the South African market.
