Lawyers quiz LAZ for associating with ‘regime change’ critics

CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa has thanked the courts of law for dismissing attempts by the opposition and the Oasis Forum to oust Bill 7 out of Parliament. Mweetwa says there is no going back on Bill 7, as the National Assembly is on firm ground to continue the constitutional amendment processes. On Tuesday, the Constitutional Court dismissed an application by Lusaka Lawyer Celestine Mukandila and Munir Zulu seeking to commence contempt proceedings against government and the National Assembly, in order to stop them from debating and passing Bill 7.
