THE newly formed We’re One Zambia Alliance (WOZA) has hit its first hurdle, with UNIP National Chairperson retired Captain Robert Mukengami denying that the former ruling party is a member of the alliance. He claims that Bishop Trevor Mwamba, who is purporting to represent UNIP, was fired from the party and is therefore only part of the alliance in his personal capacity. On Friday, a statement issued by WOZA Interim Chairperson Sakwiba Sikota revealed that a consortium of political parties, consisting of the New Heritage Party, PAC, ULP, UNIP and the Zambia We Want (ZWW), had launched the WOZA Alliance.
But Capt Mukengami, in an interview in Livingstone, Sunday, said UNIP would go into the 2026 elections on its own… Do you agree that child defilers should be castrated?
