Speaking after inspecting a refrigerated truck bearing registration number AJF 1191 belonging to Ayman Trading Company of Kalomo, Namalongo said stock theft was a serious offence and warned all abattoirs and transporters to only slaughter and transport beef with valid documentation from the veterinary, Zambia Police and the local authorities.

“I want to send a strong warning to would be perpetrators of stock theft, I also would like to warn the sellers of stock that the police has taken this issue seriously, and we are working around the clock, day and night, we will always be patrolling and who ever… Do you agree that child defilers should be castrated?
