This week on December 1stit was International AIDS Day. AIDS has been a big part of Botswana society since the 1990s.
It was during the time of President Festus Mogae that the country fought a fierce battle against HIV/AIDS and managed to put it under control. It was also at that same time that too many Batswana lost their lives to AIDS.
