Pastor accused of defiling Teen during counselling session

A pastor from The Testimony of Jesus Fellowship Ministry, Geoffrey Jikijela finds himself in serious trouble for allegedly defiling a teenage girl who had been taken in for counselling by her parents at the church. Jikijela faces a single count of defilement contrary to Section 147 of the Penal Code. It is not uncommon in this part of the world for parents to actually punish their children when they show signs of depression associating it with issues of indiscipline, and as a result, the poor child will be lashed or given some kind of punishment.
