A 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser belonging to missing diesel mechanic Reuben Marsberg has been found in Limpopo. According to Reaction Unit South Africa (Rusa), the vehicle was stripped and abandoned. Marsberg, who relocated from Howick in KZN to Louis Trichardt in Limpopo for work purposes, was last seen on Wednesday last week.

“Several household items, including a TV, PlayStation, Wi-Fi router, mattress, and blanket, were also discovered missing from the residence,” said Rusa. They added that at the time of his disappearance, Marsberg was driving a cream Toyota Land Cruiser carrying a grey toolbox. “The vehicle was later found abandoned in Polokwane, Limpopo with a small amount of blood visible inside.

Police utilised specialised dogs to search the surrounding area, but Marsberg has not yet been located,” said Rusa. A boat and trailer belonging to the Marsberg are also missing from the property. “The trailer is identifiable by its blue tyre rims, while the boat’s propeller is marked with red paint and fitted with a Yamaha outboard motor.” Rusa has appealed to the public for anyone with information regarding the missing man or who has been approached to purchase the stolen goods to contact them on 086 1234 333.
