Chitungwiza- Pathway Group of Schools, a local private institution, has committed to supporting the government’s Heritage-Based Education 5.0 model which focuses on research, innovation and industrialisation. During the school’s prize-giving ceremony over the weekend ,where new buses and interactive boards were also unveiled, Pathway Senior School acting head Joseph Marume said the institution would continue investing in modern technologies to keep pace with global education standards. “We understand that the government alone cannot meet all the demands in education, so we have aligned ourselves with Education 5.0.
We seek to support and complement the government’s efforts by playing our part as private schools. We follow these policies and are also striving to align ourselves with global best practices in education,” Marume said. He highlighted that the awards recognised not only academic excellence but also achievements in sport, drama, music and public speaking.
“We have invested a lot of money into sport; we have one of the most magnificent sports complexes. This means we are committed to developing our students holistically,” he said. Marume also noted that the school offers a specialised curriculum enabling learners to pursue studies aligned with their chosen career paths.
