SOUTH AFRICA – In what looks like the first breakthrough in a case that had seemingly now run cold, Gauteng businessman Katiso “KT” Molefe has been arrested for the murder of South African entertainer DJ Sumbody.
On Monday, National Police spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe, said police arrested four men between the ages of 45 and 60 in connection with the murder.
“The arrests were all effected in Gauteng on Monday afternoon and three of the suspects are believed to be hitmen and one is believed to have ordered the hit on the DJ.”
DJ Sumbody, a beloved figure in the South African music scene, was tragically killed in a hail of bullets in November 2022 in Woodmead.
The shooting also resulted in the death of another person, and a third person was left injured.
