News / National5 perish in kombi, haulage truck crashby Staff reporter12 mins ago |20ViewsThe Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has released the names of the five people who died in a fatal road traffic accident involving a commuter omnibus and a haulage truck along the Chivhu-Nyazura Road last Friday.In a statement, national police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed that eight other passengers were seriously injured in the collision.”The Zimbabwe Republic Police releases the names of the victims who died in a fatal road traffic accident which occurred at the 73km peg along the Chivhu-Nyazura Road on October 24,” said Commissioner Nyathi.He said the accident occurred when a haulage truck carrying a load of cement collided with a Toyota Hiace commuter omnibus carrying 12 passengers.
