Fungai Muderere at Luveve StadiumCHICKEN Inn and CAPS United cancelled each other out in a tense 1–1 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League draw at Luveve Stadium on Saturday.Speedy winger Michael Charamba put the Gamecocks ahead after a brilliant solo move by George Majika, who danced past three CAPS defenders before teeing up Charamba for a curling finish inside the box.But the Green Machine hit back just two minutes later through Ishmael Wadi, who pounced on an Alois Bunjira Junior delivery in the 72nd minute to level matters.
Bunjira, son of former CAPS United legend Alois Bunjira, had just come off the bench for Leroy Chipanera and wasted no time making an impact.The result leaves Chicken Inn on 37 points, two behind CAPS United, with both sides still fighting to secure their top-flight status.
