CAADP Kampala renews collective commitment to transforming agri-food systems

Rome, Italy, 27 October 2025– Angola’s Ambassador to Rome and Permanent Representative to the United Nations agencies in Italy, Ambassador Josefa Correia Sacko, reaffirmed today that the Kampala Declaration on the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP), which will come into force in January 2026, renews the continent’s collective commitment to transforming agri-food systems to ensure resilience, inclusion and sustainability for future generations.

The Angolan diplomat made these statements while participating in a forum on “Accelerating the implementation of the Kampala Declaration for the transformation of agri-food systems: lessons learned at the national level.”
