Yes, though it might be coincidence, legend has it that that the advert, the one that made waves with a cheeky jab, allegedly masterminded by his young pals who had just landed comfy gigs at the Econet Media and Comms department. Dakarai and the gang. They needed a name. A catchy one. Who better than their “wannabe superstar” friend, the indomitable dreamer with headphones always distributing his demo tapes?
