Ed Tatenda Chitambo, a Zimbabwean-born creative, technologist, and innovator whose journey continues to inspire many across the world. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Ed developed a passion for technology and creativity early in life. He earned his BSc. Honors in Computer Science from Walter Sisulu University in South Africa, where he laid the foundation for his multifaceted career in IT and digital innovation. Over the past 8+ years, Ed has built an impressive career as a Webmaster and IT Specialist, mastering a range of disciplines including Web Design, E-Commerce, Graphic Design, App Development, and Digital Marketing. His expertise has taken him from Zimbabwe to the UAE, where he has worked with major companies such as Qanawat Connect Solutions and Fareej Business Center in Dubai, and Robusta Coffee in Abu Dhabi.
Beyond his work in IT, Ed is also a passionate creative and culinary innovator. During the 2020 lockdown, his love for cooking led to the creation of CookedByEd.com, a cooking blog featuring creative dishes and local Zimbabwean fusions. His most notable food innovation the Pizzadza, a pizza made with sadza and beef earned him attention as a Zimbabwean chef bringing local flavors to the world. Ed also launched Megavision Multimedia, through which he provided design and tech services to numerous clients, and CV Arbab, a platform to help job seekers craft professional resumes for employment in the UAE. His creative mindset further shone in projects like MyDubaiPedia.com, a cultural and knowledge-sharing platform for residents and newcomers to Dubai.
