BULAWAYO – Former Highlanders and CAPS United winger Gabriel Nyoni has made a shocking revelation, saying his own father celebrated his downfall after he suffered a horrific injury that eventually ended his football career. Nyoni sustained a Lisfranc fracture during a league game against Richards Bay FC in South Africa in February 2021 while playing for Cape Umoya. He underwent surgery, with two wires and three screws inserted into his right leg.
