FOUR people have died in a road traffic accident along the Chirundu-Kafue road in Kapiringozi area. In a statement, Sunday, Police Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi said the accident involved an Iveco truck, registration number AJC 386, which was transporting building materials and was being driven by Emmanuel Shanyinde, aged 45, of Chipata Compound. Chilabi said preliminary investigations indicated that the accident occurred after the driver failed to negotiate a curve due to excessive speed, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, enter a ditch, and overturn.
