THE Zambia Livestock Cooperative Union says the country’s $1 billion beef export target requires a coordinated, multi-pronged strategy focusing on production, market access and value chain efficiency. Zambia’s current target is to achieve $1 billion in annual beef exports by around 2030. In an interview, Monday, Union Chairperson Elias Nkhuwa said the $1 billion beef export target was an ambitious but possible goal for the country.
